RIYADH: A mystery shopping program will help monitor the quality of tourism services and facilities across the Kingdom.
The technique, used around the world by market research firms and internally by individual companies, is part of a drive by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) to evaluate and improve tourist accommodation and activities throughout the country.
As part of the program, people from inside or outside the commission will visit facilities and organizations to evaluate services. Visitors’ identities will be kept secret to ensure a realistic appraisal.
